Hi there 👋
together we can discuss new ideas, suggestions and solve issues to make our service even better for you.
To access all the potentials of the devices, a detailed documentation would be fine! I tried hard to find a documentation, but was unable to. There are lots of things I don't understand on the Touchme2, like all those strange signs in the lower, red LED row....
Thank you for the suggestion! We send a link after the purchase with online manuals that include tutorials, like this one on LEDs - https://playtronica.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007671858-Change-scales-and-key
But we will add a QR code linking to tutorials, would that work?

That helped a lot, thank you Andrey!
More Youtube tutorials would be great too.
@ellegray any specific topic in mind? Maybe we have one, but we don't deliver it in the right place?
@ellegray @andrey_manirko I liked the tutorial about arpeggiating using the Touch Me device on Ableton, that really opened up a lot of doors for me. I would like to know whether there is a reliable way to "map" the different areas of the Touch Me device that produce more predictable outcomes, other than nominating a preferred mode (Dorian, Lydian etc).
I have been experimenting with loading up racks and also using VSTs with Playtron, so I guess tutorials about more unexpected ways to create music and use the devices with DAWs and open source synths. At the moment I am having problems with using the Playtron with Output Arcade because on that program the upper register is dedicated to samples and the lower register is dedicated to effects... even if I populate my own samples, I can't seem to load samples between the Playtron's range of C1-D#2. I am still thinking of a way around this.
@ellegray okay, here are some suggestions:
My main question is where you would expect to find that information? We have many tutorials, but they are scattered on youtube...
@ellegray @andrey_manirko Thanks for the advice, I'll have a look tomorrow! YouTube playlists could work, particularly if they're not consolidated in the one place. Alternatively you could do a Coursera-type free course, either on YouTube or hosted on the Playtronica website.
I have been using the Playtron more like a finger drummer, putting a ring on my finger and tapping the nodes: https://twitter.com/missy_el/status/1477255133754888194?t=8WGtjtrTpTEhhDoj0GR-kA&s=19
@ellegray online course is a rad idea, I'll research it this month. Never seriously considered it, but why not!
