Ipad connectivity

Dear Playtronica, i have issues trying to connect my ipad (5th generation, 15.5) with the touchme. I bought a mac adaptor for usb cameras. Both of them have a USB 3. I can't get it work with garage band nor with the online apps at playtronica. Thanks for the help!
