TouchMe as real instrument

I think, TouchMe is a nice toy. I suggest you to make on this(or another) technology - real music instrument. What do I mean: 1.6-8 trigers that you wear easily on yourself. 2.Trigers have enough size(10 cm?) to do position and pressing mapping 3.It should work instanly-you touch the trigger, and sound come same time (2-5 ms) from your sound module
