Hi.
Playtron appears to be the perfect tool for me to build a custom midi interface molded to my instrument. That instrument is connected to a mixer, effect pedals, and a modular rig, not a computer or cell phone though and I'm not interested in fiddling with apps when setting up my performance rig. My preference would be a hardware solution that was relatively straightforward.

What would be the easiest hardware solution to send a midi out/midi CC directly to my modular rig?

If it simply is the only or absolute best way, I could use a phone app to configure inputs to midi channels, but how would I get that midi output into my modular rig?

I really hate working in screens live so basically just want the playtron to play nice with my hardware without having to worry about it live.
